Houston IANDS May 2026 Meeting

From the Brink of Death to an Encounter in Heaven

Tuesday, May 5, 2026 | 6:00 - 8:30 PM Central

Virtual via Zoom

This is an IANDS online meeting with a near-death experiencer and his wife, who is a doctor. The topics discussed are meant to encourage others in their spiritual faith and to help doctors understand the implications and patient experiences happening in their care of people who are extremely ill. This is open to all who are interested in near-death experiences, their powerful transformational effects, and who want to know more for whatever personal reason they may have.

The Q&A provides a way to ask and know more from actual experiencers.

FEATURED SPEAKERS

From the brink of death to a supernatural encounter with heaven—Steve and Kathy’s  story is one of the most powerful testimonies you’ll ever hear.

In 2021, Steve, a longtime software engineer, was placed on a ventilator with severe  COVID-19. Doctors gave him less than a 20% chance of survival. While in a 21-day  coma, Steve was carried by an angel into heaven, stood before Jesus, met deceased loved ones, and received a clear message that he would return to earth.

Meanwhile, Dr. Kathy—a board-certified pediatrician with 30+ years of experience— stood on God’s promises, prayed relentlessly, and fought for her husband’s life against overwhelming odds.

Steve miraculously woke up and fully recovered. Today, this Tulsa couple shares their bestselling book, I’ve Been to Heaven, and their unforgettable testimony of faith,  prayer, miracles, and the reality of eternity.

Prepare to be encouraged, strengthened, and filled with hope. Their story proves that no situation is too impossible for God.

Don’t miss Steve & Kathy Boyles!

Houston IANDS (International Association for Near-Death Studies) at the Texas Medical Center serves as a safe space to support those who have had a near-death experience as they integrate their experience into their lives. Houston IANDS also serves to inform the public about NDEs and the lessons and messages that experiencers bring back, and to educate the medical community to recognize and appropriately treat people who have had an NDE.
