Mojisola Delano, MS, MPH


FaithHealth Project Coordinator

Mojisola (Moji) Delano serves as the Institute’s FaithHealth Project Coordinator. In this role, Moji facilitates public health initiatives under the broad umbrella of the Institute’s FaithHealth Network. Furthering the FaithHealth Vaccine Initiative and the Faith and Diabetes Initiative, Moji strengthens relationships with greater Houston’s most at-risk and under-resourced communities. She joined the Institute in October 2021. 

Moji guides the Institute’s FaithHealth Network and focuses on the physical, spiritual, and emotional health of the community by sharing resources, tools, and networks. Moji’s leadership and community engagement efforts encourage well-being and healthful outcomes in partnership with faith homes and public health partners across the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area. 

Before joining the Institute for Spirituality and Health, Moji worked at the Health Care Improvement Foundation in Philadelphia, Pa. as a project assistant and intern. 

Moji earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Studies at the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Science at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also received a Master of Public Health degree from Thomas Jefferson University.
