Exploring the connections between spirituality and health.

Jeff Sokoloff

Jeff serves as the Vice President for Advancement. He works closely with the President/CEO and Board Chair, to support the continuing growth of the Institute and to help make a greater impact in the community. He does this by identifying new audiences, building collaborations with institutions and organizations that value the importance spirituality plays in improving health and enhancing healing, and by providing innovative and strategic leadership in fund development, program planning, as well as marketing and communications.

Before joining ISH, Jeff served in fundraising and leadership positions at such organizations as the Hebrew Free Loan Association of Houston, the Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County, the Anti-Defamation League/Southwest Region and the American Heart Association. In his various roles, Jeff has planned and led annual campaigns, conducted face-to-face solicitations, directed fundraising events, written grant proposals, and engaged in outreach, leadership development work and organized numerous programs.

In 2012 and 2013, Jeff served on the Sponsorship Committee for Houston’s Association of Fundraising Professionals’ National Philanthropy Day Luncheon. He has also been a soccer coach at the Fort Bend Family YMCA, a basketball coach at the First Colony Community Services Association and a manager at First Colony Little League.
