Jeff Sokoloff, MA
Vice President of Operations
Jeff joined the Institute for Spirituality and Health in 2014 and serves as Vice President of Operations. He provides strategic leadership while overseeing the Institute’s financial management and operational functions and plays a key role in planning the annual Conference on Medicine and Religion. Jeff brings extensive experience in fundraising, community outreach, and leadership development, and he works closely with the Institute’s board members and staff to support the organization's continued growth.
Before joining the Institute, Jeff served in senior leadership positions for the Hebrew Free Loan Association of Houston, the Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County, the Anti-Defamation League/Southwest Region, the Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, the Jewish Council of Howard County, the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston, and the American Heart Association/Houston Council. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Master of Arts in Jewish Communal Service from Brandeis University.
In his non-work time, Jeff plays softball, enjoys running (mostly sprints), and watches and takes pictures (from a safe distance) of the outdoor cats, possums, raccoons, birds, squirrels, and an occasional skunk that appear on his doorstep.
