To Provide Vaccinations and Public Health Education
An important initiative under our FaithHealth Network, the FaithHealth Vaccines Initiative offers free vaccine clinics.
Faith homes in traditionally underserved areas across Greater Houston including Third Ward, Acres Homes, and others, are invited to learn more and contact us to set up an event for your community.
Our FaithHealth Network is a collaborative of faith homes and health systems empowering communities with resources to improve health and wellbeing.
We have several initiatives providing free health trainings and resources:
Cities Changing Diabetes - training congregational health leaders to provide diabetes and chronic disease education and prevention classes and peer support to their community members.
FaithHealth Vaccines Initiative - partnering with communities to raise awareness, foster dialogue, address challenges, and provide free pop-up vaccine sites.
Together We Breathe - teaching mind-body skills for health and resilience to at-risk communities
