SACRED MOMENTS IN MEDICINE
This intimate "evening of stories" will celebrate personal experiences of spiritual/special/sacred moments in medicine. Four narratives will be shared, each from different perspectives, with time for discussion at the end of the evening.

THE MANY FACETS OF CONTEMPLATIVE PRACTICE
Please join the Institute for Spirituality and Health May 14th, for an evening of learning and practice from both eastern and western traditions.
We have invited three long-time contemplatives to share their wisdom and insight with us.

Our teachers are:
- Lex Gillan, a practitioner of yoga and meditation for 40 years. Mr. Gillan has been a full time instructor since 1974 when he founded The Yoga Institute in Houston, one of the oldest yoga studio businesses in the country.
- Bob Hesse, PhD., an ordained Catholic deacon and Co-founder and President of Contemplative Network, Inc. (CN) dedicated to interdenominational Christian contemplative prayer.
- Anne C. Klein, PhD. (Rigzin Drolma), Professor of Religious Studies at Rice University in Houston Texas, and a practicing Buddhist and student of Buddhist thought since 1971. She is the founding director of Dawn Mountain Tibetan Temple.
